STERLING- Annie L. Woodson-Waters, 96, died, Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Citadel of Sterling.

Annie was born May 20, 1922 in Canton, SD,  the daughter of Oris and Annie (Cherry) Richardson. She married Clarence Woodson May 3, 1940. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1986. She then married Marvin Waters on September 27, 1996 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2011.

Survivors include two sons, Lloyd (Peggy) Woodson of Lake Charles, LA , and John (Monica) Woodson of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Mary (Steve) Nichols of Rock Falls; one daughter-in-law Arlene Martin of Rock Falls; 11 grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Kris, Kathie, Jim, Karen, Doug, Jenny, Brenda, Bob and Jacob; and several great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son James Martin;  one sister, Rachel Agee; two brothers, Edwin Richardson, and Oris Richardson.

Funeral Services will be 11AM Saturday December 29, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, with pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral, from 9AM-11AM on Saturday.

A memorial has been established.
