George “Benny” Fenn

Sterling- George “Benny” Fenn, 89, of Sterling,  died Friday January 18 , 2019 at Rock River Hospice and Home.

  Benny was born February 3, 1929, in Brookings SD, the son of Benjamin and Blanche (Gramer) Fenn.  He married Gloria Maxine Myers on September 14, 1952 in Lee Center. She preceded him in death on April 16, 2015.

  Survivors include one son Gary (Tammie) Fenn of West Bloomfield MI; one daughter Barb (Louis) Quick of Sterling; one sister Alice (Bill) Gould of Fulton; and five grandchildren.

  He was also preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Gayle Ellen; one sister Betty Wade; and two brothers Art Fenn and Roger Fenn.

  Funeral service is 10:30 AM Friday January 25, 2019 at Wesley United Methodist Church, in Sterling, with pastor Jeremiah W C Thompson, officiating. Burial will be at Lee Center Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5PM-7PM, Thursday January 24, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling.

  A memorial has been established.
