Obituary of John W. Simmons, Jr.

John W Simmons Jr, 20, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

John was born on November 12, 1998 in Freeport, IL. The son of Amanda Anderson (Liczkowski) and John W Simmons Sr.  John had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. His smile would light up a room and his laugh would brighten anyone’s day. John had many hobbies that included riding snowmobile, playing golf, playing basketball and riding his bike everywhere. John loved the Packers and always had on some type of a shirt, hat or jersey. He enjoyed brewers games and enjoyed watching the Bulls. His favorite color was pink. He had multiple pink shirts.

Survivors include his mom Amanda Anderson and stepdad Tim Anderson from South Beloit, IL. Nana Linda Germany, Great Grandma Zita Germany, Rockford, IL. Grandpa Greg Liczkowski (Leslie Crampton), Mount Prospect, IL. Great Grandpa Leonard Liczkowski, Huntley, IL. Grandma Dale Ann Anderson (Mrs. Dale) and Grandpa Tim Anderson, Machesney Park, IL. Aunt Jaimie Liczkowski (Tim), Springfield, TN. Aunt Stephanie Milam (John), Rockford, IL. Uncle Dave Liczkowski (Kristina), Stayton, OR. Uncle Matt Anderson and Aunt Heather Anderson, Durand, IL. Papa Jimmy Ashley, Cave City, AR. Grandma Lori Ashley, Loretto, TN. His dad John W Simmons Sr and stepmom Rebecca Simmons. Half sisters, Autumn and Neveah Simmons, Neveah Colliflower from Salem, AR. Uncle Jamie Simmons and Danielle Najfus from Warrenville, IL. Grandma Vicky Simmons and Grandpa Russ Lifka from Sterling, IL. Multiple cousins and extended family. 

We are sad that you are not here with us, but know that you will always be in our hearts. Keep smiling. We love you John. 

Memorial Service held Saturday March 9, 2019 at Forest Hills Evangelical Free Church 5183 Pebble Creek Trl Loves Park,IL 61111. Visitation from 10-11, service from 11-12, meal to follow.
