Obituary of Juan Anaya

   Juan “Tony” Anaya, 62, of Sterling died July 11, 2023 at his home. Tony was born June 3, 1961 in Guerrero Cuauhtemoc Mexico City the son of Jesus Leon Gonzalez and Aurelia Anaya Azuna.  

   Tony had strong faith in Christ, and always looked for a chance to share the gospel with others. He was a very happy, energetic and fun loving person. He loved spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren. He was very loved and will always be remembered.

   Survivors include one son Gaspar (Calen) Anaya of Clayton GA; two daughters Kaila Anaya of Clayton GA, and Vanessa Anaya of Mexico City; and one brother Nicolas Anaya of Mexico City.

   Tony was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Gaby Anaya; one sister Rosa Anaya;two brothers Daniel Anaya, and Gaspar Anaya.

   A Celebration of life will be 1PM-3PM Tuesday July 18, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling, with Pastor Jeff Coester of The Big Red Church, officiating. 

   A memorial has been established to assist the family.
