Obituary of Jeffrey Todd Loos

Jeffrey Todd Loos, 53, of Sterling died Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at CGH Medical Center.  Jeffrey was born June 1, 1970 in Sterling, the son of Arlyn and Lyna (Burkey) Loos.  Survivors include his father, Arlyn Loos of Cypress, Texas; one sister, Janell Loos of Sterling; one brother, Brian (Jaime) Loos of Cypress, Texas; and four nieces and nephews, Sean Messer, Breanna (Aaron) Tewksbury, Andrew Messer and Olivia Tunk.  Jeffrey was also blessed with several uncles, aunts, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Lyna Loos.   

Jeffrey worked in the manufacturing industry.  In his spare time, he was an avid reader of rock & roll history, enjoyed collecting guitars and vinyl records, and loved to catch the latest movie.  His love for music and films was dwarfed only by his love for his dog, Princess. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling with Pastor Leo Patterson.  Visitation will be from 10-11 am Friday prior to Memorial Services.  Burial will be private.  Cremation rites have been accorded.
