Obituary of Louise Gibbons

  Louise Gibbons of Sterling, died Saturday January 13, 2024 at Allure of Sterling.

   Louise was born in Chicago, the daughter of David and Mildred (Overman) Gibbons. She graduated from Northern Illinois University and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She worked at the former Northwestern Steel and Wire Company in the finance department, was a realtor for Remax Sauk Valley for many years, prior to retirement and  was also a greeter at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling for many years. 

   Survivors include her cousins Carol (Dave) Mosier, Kay (Richard) Herbert and Mindy (Jeffrey) Vaughn carol's daughter Mindyand her daughters Autumn and Amber Holder

   Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 PM at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Burial will be at a later date at Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside.

   A memorial has been established.
