Dear Duis Family,
I am sorry for your loss.
As a college student (1966-70) I worked at Wallace Park as a summer Park Supervisor. It was a pleasure to work for Mr. Duis.
I am also Jim Frasor's youngest daughter. Thank you for mentioning our Dad and the other park board members in the obituary.
I remember with smiles Mr. Duis at the dedication of the Frasor Ice Rink.
Mr. Duis made a significant mark on the Sterling community.
With prayers,
Marcia Frasor Blum

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences to you and your family. I used to repair his office equipment years ago. We would sit and talk while I was there. A great man.

Enjoyed all our years of friendship dating back to the mid sixties, talking about all the park & recreation facilities in Northern Illinois, & realizing how superb the Sterling facilities were. Sterling was blessed to have him & will miss him. We are very sorry for your - and our - loss.
