Obituary of Cleone Freas

CLEONE J. FREAS STERLING - Cleone J. Freas, 69, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at her home. She was employed as a Secretary at Schilling Funeral Home for 11 years prior to retirement. Cleone was born May 12, 1942 in DeSoto, WI, the daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Sidie) Cox. She married Lyle P. Freas on May 19, 1990 in Rock Falls. Cleone was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Rock Falls. Survivors include three daughters, Danella (Kazimir) Lewandowski and Julie (Brad) Sisson, both of Sterling, and Jennifer (James) Hunt, of Lemont; two sons, Stacey (Patti) Fischbach, of Milledgeville, and Lonny (Lydia King) Fischbach, of Chadwick; three brothers, Fantus (Betty) Cox, of Wisconsin, Garian (Berta) Cox, of Chadwick, and Arleigh Cox, of Lake Placid, FL; twenty-three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Verlyn Cox. Services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Berean Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Carlson, officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Friday, December 9, 2011 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
