JEAN K. MELLANG
STERLING - JEAN K. MELLANG, 92, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Coventry Village in Sterling.
Jean K. Mellang was born on November 28, 1919 in Roodhouse, the daughter of
Mr. Kisner and Leta (Doyle) Kisner. She married Howard K. Mellang on September 18, 1943 in Chicago. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy (Webb) Harwell of Granite Bay, CA, Susan Sisler of Houston, TX, and Laurie (Randy) Aschenbrenner of Green Bay, WI; one son, Bob (Mary) Mellang of Libertyville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Jean was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Kisner.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, January 13, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home.
Private graveside services will be held. Visitation will be from 9AM -11AM Friday, prior to services.
A Memorial has been established.
