Obituary of Gary Spurr

GARY E. SPURR STERLING - Gary E. Spurr, 59, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Gary was born September 30, 1952 in Dayton, OH, the son of Bernard and Elsie (Farmer) Spurr. Survivors include his mother, Elsie Spurr, of Sterling; two daughters, Cynthia S. Spurr, of Rock Falls, and Dawn Spurr, of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Spurr; and his sister, Diana Ackland. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements were made by Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
